Field experience across 16 geographies across India — and a project-ready network beyond them.
These are not the only states MFRS can work in — they’re the states where our founding field experience was actually built, largely across the Hindi-speaking belt plus Gujarat, Maharashtra and Punjab.
A research and field-operations company built around practical field experience.
MFRS INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED, operating as MFRS India (Monitoring Field & Research Services), works across research, surveys, field data collection, monitoring, evaluation and related data and documentation services. The company was built by people whose professional experience began in field research, supervision and state-level coordination.
That experience shapes how we approach assignments: understand the study, check the field conditions, build the operating plan, supervise the work, validate what comes back and document it properly. We do not treat fieldwork as a separate step that begins after the office work is finished.
Research, fieldwork, monitoring and the work around them.
MFRS can support an assignment from field planning and data collection through monitoring, validation, analysis and documentation. The exact scope is built around the client’s requirement rather than a fixed package.

The field plan is part of the research plan.
A practical workflow helps keep an assignment manageable when geography, respondents, timelines or field conditions change.
Understand
Clarify the objective, geography, population, sample, timeline, outputs and constraints.
Prepare
Translate the requirement into tools, protocols, staffing, training and quality-control arrangements.
Execute
Deploy the appropriate team, supervise implementation and deal with field realities as they arise.
Validate & Report
Check data and documentation, resolve identified issues and deliver agreed outputs.
A field team should fit the assignment, not the other way around.
Field requirements vary sharply between a focused local study and a multi-location assignment. MFRS works with project-based field personnel and associates according to geography, sample size, timeline, language, respondent profile and supervision requirements — which lets the team scale to the work actually awarded, instead of carrying a fixed headcount that doesn’t match the project.
The wider MFRS field network includes people with substantial practical experience — individual members bringing roughly 15 to 20 years in the field. Team size and composition still stay assignment-specific.
Evidence before impression. We’d rather publish fewer genuine examples of our work than fill this site with stock photographs or achievements we can’t actually attribute to MFRS. Location details are redacted to protect respondent privacy.
Technology helps the field team work better. It doesn’t replace field judgement.
Depending on the assignment, digital data collection may use platforms such as KoboToolbox, ODK or SurveyCTO, with offline capture, validation rules, GPS or other controls configured where required.
The tool is never the whole answer. Data quality still comes down to how well the instrument is designed, how the team is trained and supervised, and how carefully the data gets validated afterward — not simply whether the survey was collected on a tablet.
Quality control is part of delivery, not a final clean-up exercise.
Before fieldwork
Study requirements, tools, sampling arrangements, field protocols, training needs and practical constraints are reviewed before deployment.
During fieldwork
Supervision, validation, back-checks, field observations and escalation of problems help identify issues while they can still be corrected.
Before handover
Data, documentation and agreed outputs are reviewed for consistency, completeness and the requirements defined for the assignment.

What clients can reasonably expect from us.
Field-tested leadership
Founding experience includes research investigation, field supervision and state-level coordination across 16 geographies across India.
Practical project staffing
Teams are built around actual assignment requirements rather than a fixed headcount used as a marketing number.
Structured quality checks
Supervision, validation, documentation and review are treated as part of the work itself.
Honest scoping
If a geography, sample, timeline or operating condition creates a genuine constraint, we identify it before committing to the project.
Clear representation
Individual professional history, MFRS capability and MFRS-completed assignments are kept separate.
Confidentiality by default
Respondent information, client material and project findings are handled on a need-to-know basis and shared publicly only when we’re permitted to.
We will show the work we are actually permitted to show.
Our work section documents MFRS assignments and initiatives alongside selected professional experience brought by members of the team. Each is identified by its actual context, with photographs and project information published only where appropriate and permitted.
View Our Work & Experience →How we behave on a proposal, in the field and in a final report matters.
Our approach is built around ground reality, respondent respect, quality checks, documentation, confidentiality and honest representation of our own work — credibility should come from what we can show and document, not from how impressive the sentence sounds.
