Research experience that begins with understanding the field.
MFRS INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED, operating as MFRS India (Monitoring Field & Research Services), is a research, survey, monitoring and field-operations company based in Sehore, Madhya Pradesh. We work with organisations that need reliable information from the ground — and need the field process behind that information to be planned, supervised and documented properly.
Our work can begin with a questionnaire or research brief, but it does not end there. Geography, respondents, investigators, supervisors, permissions, travel, digital tools, quality checks and reporting all have to work together before a dataset can be called useful.
Built after years of seeing what actually happens between a research plan and a completed field assignment.
MFRS was built by people whose professional experience began in field research before the company itself existed. That experience includes working as investigators, supervisors, coordinators, monitoring professionals and field managers on household surveys, evaluations and development-sector studies across different parts of India.
That background has influenced the way the company is being built. We do not treat fieldwork as a simple final step after research planning. Respondent access, investigator preparation, local conditions, supervision and data quality are part of the research process itself.
At the same time, MFRS is not intended to remain only a fieldwork supplier. The company’s scope includes research and survey, monitoring and evaluation, data services, consultancy, training, documentation and reporting — with project teams structured according to what a particular assignment actually requires.
Because good research can still fail in the field.
A strong questionnaire cannot compensate for weak supervision. A good sample design cannot help if the wrong respondents are interviewed. A digital survey platform cannot fix a field team that was never properly briefed. And a clean-looking dataset is not useful if nobody knows what happened during collection.
The idea behind MFRS is therefore fairly simple.
Research planning and field execution should not operate as two unrelated worlds. The people designing, supervising, monitoring and reviewing an assignment should understand the practical realities that affect data collection.
MFRS is being developed around that connection — combining research discipline with field-operating experience rather than assuming that one can substitute for the other.
Research and field operations across the full life of an assignment.
The exact scope depends on the study. MFRS may support one part of a project or a broader combination of planning, field execution, monitoring, data management and reporting.
Research & Survey
Household, institutional, social, market, economic and development-sector studies.
Monitoring & Evaluation
Field monitoring, independent verification, programme review and evaluation support.
Field Data Collection
Investigator deployment, supervision, respondent coverage and multi-location field execution.
Data Services
Digital data collection, validation, cleaning support and structured project datasets.
Consulting & Advisory
Research planning, field feasibility, project design and practical implementation inputs.
Training & Capacity Building
Investigator briefings, field-team preparation and assignment-specific training.
Documentation & Reporting
Progress documentation, field reporting, operational records and study reports.
Verification & Assessment
Physical, institutional, programme and respondent-level verification assignments.
Awareness & Community Engagement
Field-based awareness, community interaction and research-linked outreach where required.
Start with what the assignment requires. Build the operation around that.
Understand the assignment
Geography, sample, respondents, methodology, timeline, deliverables and client expectations are reviewed before field planning begins.
Build the right team
Team size and structure are planned according to the actual work, rather than maintaining a fixed field headcount for appearance.
Stay close to execution
Supervisors, coordinators and project leadership remain connected with field progress and emerging problems while work is active.
Check before handover
Field completion, documentation and data-quality issues are reviewed before work is treated as ready for delivery.
The company is new. The field experience behind it is not.
MFRS’s leadership and wider professional team include people whose individual field experience ranges from several years to approximately fifteen to twenty years across research, survey and development-sector work.
Investigator-Level Experience
Members of the team have worked directly with respondents and understand the realities of collecting information at household and community level.
Supervisory Experience
Experience includes investigator training, field supervision, back-checks, progress monitoring and team coordination.
State-Level Coordination
Senior professionals within the team have coordinated field operations across districts, states and large distributed field structures.
Government-Facing Work
Individual professional backgrounds include assignments linked with government departments and public-sector programmes.
Multi-Sector Exposure
Experience extends across health, education, livelihoods, agriculture, financial inclusion, disability and other development themes.
Quality & Documentation
The team brings practical familiarity with reporting, field checks, data quality and the documentation expected around research work.
We keep individual experience and company experience separate.
Many members of the MFRS team bring substantial professional experience from assignments completed before MFRS INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED was established. That experience explains what they know and what they bring to the company.
It is not presented as a project completed by MFRS unless the assignment was actually undertaken by MFRS. We believe that distinction makes the company’s experience easier to understand — not weaker.
Established experience in multiple geographies, with project teams built beyond them when required.
Members of the MFRS team bring direct professional field experience across 13 established geographies in India. For assignments outside those areas, teams can be built through project-based field personnel and associates according to geography, language, sample size, respondent type and supervision requirements.
Coverage is planned project by project.
MFRS does not treat a contact list as a permanent nationwide field force. Before accepting work in a geography, the practical questions still matter: who will supervise the team, what language is required, how the sample is distributed, how travel will work and whether the proposed timeline is realistic.
Experience across social, economic and public-service research.
A permanent leadership base, supported by project-specific teams.
Research assignments do not all require the same people. MFRS therefore combines a permanent organisational base with project teams that can expand or change according to the work.
Leadership & Governance
Directors and senior leadership provide organisational direction, project oversight and the governance framework within which work is undertaken.
Research & Operations
Research, field operations, supervision, monitoring, data and reporting responsibilities are assigned according to each project’s scope.
Project-Based Field Teams
Investigators, supervisors, coordinators and associates are deployed according to geography, language, sample size and assignment needs.
We would rather make the field plan realistic than make the proposal sound bigger.
- Field experience is part of planning. Decisions are informed by people who have worked inside survey and monitoring operations, not only by people reading a scope of work.
- Teams are built around assignments. Staffing is based on geography, sample, timeline, subject and supervision needs rather than an inflated permanent headcount.
- Senior experience remains accessible. MFRS includes experienced professionals who can be brought into relevant operational and technical discussions when an assignment needs them.
- Problems are expected to be reported early. Field teams and supervisors are encouraged to make constraints visible while there is still time to correct them.
- Quality is treated as a process. Training, supervision, validation, field checks, documentation and review all contribute to data quality.
- Capability is represented carefully. Individual experience, company assignments and self-initiated work are not blended together simply to make an experience list appear larger.

Policies & Guidelines
The standards we apply to research, participants, data and business conduct.
Research is useful when the evidence can be trusted — and the process behind it can be explained.
MFRS is building its organisation around that standard: plan carefully, work honestly, stay close to the field and represent the work accurately.
